We were able to reserve a small corner of the rose garden for a small wedding with family and a few others. The time and place is mentioned on your invitation. We’ll see everyone at the reception.
The wedding is standing only (except for the musicians). There is plenty of shade, restrooms, several park benches scattered near by, and gift and snack shops.
Parking is almost always congested. Come early and enjoy the roses. Your best bet is the street running along the Tennis Courts (pictured above) at the entrance to the Japanese Gardens. This road runs north into a residential area with parking. The Rose Garden is behind the Tennis Courts.
Although we’re hoping for a beautiful, sunny Portland afternoon, we can’t always count on that. In case of a downpour, our back-up plan is to move the wedding to the reception ballroom. We’ll try to communicate this if we can on this web page.
