- Arnold
assumed the position of IT director in September of
2001. The company had no network, email
or Internet. The computer systems were
designed around a dos based application that was not
scaleable. The company was
in need of an IT
upgrade.
- After
conducting an extensive search for a new enterprise
application, Arnie was able to pick a solution,
bolster support of regional managers across Arizona,
California and Nevada, and successfully deploy the
new application.
- Along with the
new enterprise application, Arnie designed a network
backbone and migrated the over 1200 users to a
Microsoft Windows environment that was simple to
administer, easy to deploy, and cost effective to
manage. The users received an upgrade of
virtually every aspect of their information
technology.

Fidelity National
Financial
Technology Infrastructure Project

- Arnold was
promoted to corporate IT director for Fidelity National
Financial soon after the successful acquisition and
IT assimilation of Ticor Title Company of California.
- Building off the WAN template at
Ticor, FNF expanded the idea of a hub and spoke network
utilizing regional co-location data centers and cutting
edge communications technologies to roll out a new enterprise
wide WAN under the TIP project.
- Arnold also served on the IT Director
committee that reported up to the CTO. This group
of individuals was responsible for all new enterprise
wide IT initiatives.
- Along with corporate initiatives,
Arnold was responsible for over 30 direct and indirect
reports at over 250 branches across California and Colorado.
These System Administrators were the backbone of systems
support and maintained a superior level of service for
the over 3000 employees.

Emerald Mortgage Assistance Company
Support for four real estate companies
across two states

- Arnie began his real estate career
as Information Systems Manager in Colorado and Nevada
working for various foreclosure and real estate related
companies in conjunction with Emerald Mortgagee Assistance
Company.
- Arnie was successful in upgrading
their various systems to high standards with the installation
and deployment of client-server and terminal server
based foreclosure applications, Wide Area Networks,
and accounting applications.
